IACS and IACS Sections
The International Academy of Cardiovascular Sciences as a non-profit world scientific society has the general mission to promote cardiovascular science, scientific education and interaction of all scientists in the field. The different sections of IACS are created on a geographical basis. Although all sections of IACS share the previously mentioned missions, there are differences between the sections regarding the specific aims within this general mission.
